At the Kroc School, students have access to the resources needed to propel their careers while shaping a better world. Career Advising

What does a career in shaping a better world look like? What are the essential skills? How do you create change and have a career? Kroc students are surrounded by faculty, staff and alumni willing to connect and discuss career questions.

Career Design Studios

These condensed workshops create space for students to envision their career, strengthen their professional networks and develop strategies to achieve their professional goals. Past Studios have covered personal branding, grant writing and strategic career planning.

Kroc Alumni Network

Kroc School graduates are impacting communities, governments and populations around the world. Kroc students can connect to this rich network of professionals through on-campus events, mentoring and digital platforms.

Student Opportunity Grants

Each semester, Kroc students can take charge of their career development by applying for the Student Opportunity Grant (SOG). The SOG is competitive funding used to explore career development opportunities outside of the Kroc School, like attending United Nations conferences, presenting research, or completing a project with a transnational organization. Career Development Center

USD’s Career Development Center offers resources for graduate students, like support with résumés and cover letters, with digital resources available on the Center's website. USD alumni get lifetime career support from the Career Development Center.
