Send official sealed transcripts documenting each course taken beyond the high school level (whether or not within a degree program) and all degrees awarded. Foreign transcripts must be accompanied by a course-by-course transcript evaluation from World Education Services (WES). http://www.wes.org/

Please include a 1-2 page narrative explaining the value this degree will add to your intellectual and career development, organizing your essay on the following two prompts:
- What motivates you to pursue a Master of Arts in Peace and Justice at this particular time?
- In what specific ways do you foresee a Master of Arts in Peace and Justice assisting your personal, intellectual and/or professional development?
This should not be a recounting of facts already listed on the application; it should give the Admissions Committee a better sense of who you are and why you are applying to graduate school at the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies at the University of San Diego. If you are in a graduate program at another university, please explain why you wish to leave.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is mandatory for all applicants educated outside the United States. The test can be waived if English is your primary language or you have obtained a bachelor's degree from the U.S., Great Britain, Canada or Australia. Other exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.
