Robin Deichler is the Public Outreach and Administrative Coordinator at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice where she is responsible for managing the Peace exChange event series and providing administrative and budgetary support to the institute. Prior to this position, she was the Executive Assistant to the director and senior program officers and provided support for the institute’s programs including Women PeaceMakers, WorldLink and the Distinguished Lecture Series.

Prior to joining the institute, Deichler worked with various nonprofit organizations in San Diego, San Francisco and New York, and served two years as an AmeriCorps member focusing on issues of education and conflict resolution for at-risk youth. She has worked as community engagement coordinator for Playworks, program and development coordinator for the American Council on Germany, and interned with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), processing applications for deferred action for childhood arrivals.

Deichler holds an MA in international relations from San Francisco State University, and a BA in international security and conflict resolution from San Diego State University. During her time at SDSU, she studied in Paris and wrote her thesis on the growing intolerance of North African immigrants in France and across the European Union.
