How to Support the Kroc School

Support for a more peaceful future.

At the Kroc School, peace is not passive. Peace happens because we get involved by making change, we speak up for those without a voice, we act in solidarity with people facing injustice. When you support The Campaign for USD and the priorities of the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies, you'll be strengthening our already outstanding academic programs, building the impactful programming of our three institutes, and supporting powerful initiatives such as Women, Peace and Security; Religion and Peacebuilding; and Youth and Peacebuilding.

students Support Students International students from conflict-affected and under developed countries, as well as U.S. students from low-income families and struggling communities, are in great need of scholarship support. Learn how to make a tremendous impact on their lives and the places they will serve.
Women, Peace and Security Support Women, Peace and Security Research shows that incorporating women fully into all aspects of peacebuilding, development and governance forges the best path to building sustainable peace. The Women, Peace and Security initiatives of the Institute for Peace and Justice including the Women PeaceMakers program and Defying Extremism collaborative, conferences, research and advocacy, are complemented by academic courses, arts programming and other programs. Discover how it's made possible with your support.
Support Religion and Peacebuilding Support Religion and Peacebuilding The Kroc School's religion and peacebuilding initiative enables agents of change — religious leaders, community members, humanitarian workers, diplomats, human rights activists, educators, policymakers, businesspersons and security forces — to build peace more effectively.
Support Youth and Peacebuilding Support Youth and Peacebuilding A growing global youth population can exacerbate conflict or promise progress. Through local San Diego programs like the Institute for Peace and Justice's WorldLink, which provides opportunities for youth from Southern California and Baja Mexico to evaluate ideas, add their voices to public discourse and help generate solutions, and international engagement with youth in places such as Cambodia, Kenya Mexico, Nepal and Myanmar, youth are becoming changemakers and peacebuilders.
Support the Trans-Border Institute Support the Trans-Border Institute The Kroc School's Trans-Border Institute (TBI) is San Diego's premier center for cross-border research and applied peacebuilding. TBI aims for long-term impact by training the next generation of peacebuilders in Mexico, defending freedom of expression and championing a human rights perspective on migration. Endowment gifts, including naming rights, are a key campaign priority, as is support for current programs including peacebuilding seminars in Mexico.
Support the Center for Peace and Commerce Support the Center for Peace and Commerce The Center for Peace and Commerce builds upon the strength of the School of Business and the expertise of the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies to transform the learning experience, inside and outside the classroom; to support and enhance relevant research; and to promote the development of social enterprises.
