About the Leading Change Campaign
A message from the dean.
The Kroc School is building a network of global peacebuilders and changemakers and you can be a part of this movement.
Giving to the Kroc School is walking in the footsteps of Mrs. Joan B. Kroc, a visionary woman who invested in the building of a home for peace and justice at the University of San Diego that serves students, the San Diego community, and the world. The world needs leaders trained in how to build sustainable, just societies, how to prevent and resolve conflict, and how to protect human rights. Rapidly changing threats require new approaches.
The University of San Diego has launched a $300 million Campaign for USD: Leading Change, and the Kroc School is an important part of that campaign. We represent the values of the University — academic excellence in teaching, learning and research to serve the local, national and international communities, ethical conduct, compassionate service — and you have the opportunity to greatly expand the impact we have on the world by helping us raise $9.5 million to invest in innovative faculty, accomplished students and measurably impactful peacebuilding.
Your support of Kroc School students, faculty research and applied peacebuilding practice through our Center for Peace and Commerce, Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice and Trans-Border Institute demonstrates that you are a changemaker. You can envision a better future, a more peaceful future, a more just future. We can too, and are building a network of global peacebuilders and changemakers who are spread out around the world in governments, businesses, nonprofits, schools and international organizations creating positive change. Join us as part of the Kroc family.
