TRADITION with VISION

The origins of the Patrons of the USD Fine Arts came in USD's golden anniversary year, 1999, when the USD Auxiliary transformed itself into a new organization focused on promotion of the Fine Arts at USD. "Tradition with Vision" was the golden anniversary theme, elaborating the vision and honoring the tradition are exciting roles for the Patrons of the USD Fine Arts.

USD offers a rich array of Fine Arts programming including gallery, exhibits, concerts, and plays. Teaching, scholarship, and creative activity are all essential aspects of liberal arts education at USD. The USD-Old Globe partnership in the MFA program in Dramatic Arts has brought regional and national distinction to USD.
