As a reminder, please make sure that all requests for Parking Services support for special events and/or reserved parking for visitors are in writing and sent directly to the Parking Services Office (Hughes Center Room 150), with cc to Wajma Shams, Parking Services Manager.
Please follow the guidelines below to request this support. This will help ensure that the services or support you request will be in place.
- For events restricted to reserving parking for ten (10) vehicles or less, submit request to Parking Services no later than five (5) working days prior to the event. Requests for ten (10) or fewer reserved parking spaces must include a sign on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper for each space as outlined by the attached sample.
- For events involving more than ten (10) reserved parking spaces, the re-routing of traffic, the blocking of streets and/or parking lots, or the opening of parking kiosks after 5:00 P.M. or on weekends, please submit requests no later than twenty (20) working days prior to the event.
- For Public Safety officer support, submit a request in writing at least ten (10) working days prior to the event to Wajma Shams, Public Safety.
