At the University of San Diego we realize and value the importance of our partnership with parents to advance our goals and missions and ultimately ensure the best possible experience academically, socially, spiritually and physically for students.
The college years for both students and parents are years of growth, change and rewards. We celebrate that with you and believe you play a very important role in supporting the success of your student. Sometimes it’s helpful to speak to other parents who have already gone through the challenges your son or daughter may be facing. At USD we have a parent community who would like to offer you support and thoughts as you work through your new parental role during your student’s time at USD.
We encourage you to connect with one of our parents. If interested, please email email@example.com.
We also want your experience to be rewarding at USD. The Office of Parent Relations offers many ways to be involved with the University of San Diego. Through involvement, you will gain a greater sense of community, meet other parents and families, further connect with your student, become more knowledgeable of current programs and events, and stay informed on the latest USD news.
We look forward to a relationship with you over your student’s four years and beyond. Be a USD ambassador by attending events in your area, represent USD at a College Fair, host an event in your home, offer an internship through Career Services or volunteer at one of the family signature events on campus. You can also enhance the student experience by providing financial assistance to USD programs or students in need by supporting the USD Parent Fund.
However you decide to be involved, we look forward to your participation in the Torero family.
