Hotel Reservations

USD has formed a partnership with Bartell Hotels. Richard Bartell, a School of Law alumnus, has opened the doors of his seven premier hotels to the USD community. The USD-Bartell Hotels partnership means you receive a special rate when you book your stay at one of the conveniently located Bartell Hotels in San Diego. A portion of the room cost comes back to USD to support student scholarships, promote university events and marketing efforts and create community awareness about the partnership.

To take advantage of special rates and USD family amenities, visit www.bartellhotels.com/usdpartnership or call (800) 345-9995.  Be sure to ask for the USD rate!

Visitor Parking on Campus

One of the best times to visit the campus is on the weekends, when parking spaces
are relatively abundant. From Friday at 5 p.m. to Monday at 6 a.m., you are allowed to
park anywhere on campus, except some designated 24-hour reserved spaces. During the
week, parking is limited in the center of campus, because faculty, staff and thousands
of students are present. During those times, visitors may park in any white-lined, non-reserved space
in one of the two parking structures. The west parking structure
is serviced by a shuttle service from 7 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday.
Do not park in spaces marked “Reserved” except during weekends or after 5 p.m.
Monday through Friday. Please note that certain reserved spaces are reserved 24 hours
a day, seven days a week, and are identified as such. Parking in any reserved space can
result in expensive fines and towing fees. Visitors are required to obtain a visitor’s parking
permit. A free visitor’s parking permit can be obtained at either of the two campus
entrance kiosks or, if the kiosks are closed, at the public safety/parking services office
behind the Hughes Administration Building, Room 150.

For complete parking regulations, go to www.sandiego.edu/parking.
