What students should bring
The following list will give you some idea of the items your student may need if living on campus. There are shopping areas close to campus and accessible via public transportation. In addition, many of these items may be purchased at the USD Bookstore or the Hahn University Center mini-market. One resident advises, “Start out light. You can always bring more things at breaks or have them mailed to you. It is better than being squashed into your
room!”

Extra long sheets will fit on both bed sizes. If belongings need to be mailed to the university, plan to have them arrive between Aug. 27 and Sept. 1. Boxes and packages should clearly show the new students name, and include the student’s mailbox number if possible (provided with residence hall assignment). |
