March 2015 Newsletter

Dear USD Families,

Thank you to all the families who participated in the 11th Annual Grandparents’ Weekend, February 20-21. Over 400 Torero family members experienced a fun-filled family weekend at the University of San Diego. Families were able to meet USD Changemaker students, tour historic parts of campus, take in a Torero baseball game and enjoy a scrumptious brunch. Most of all, families were able to create priceless memories with their student. Make sure to check out the photos and we'd love to hear your feedback!

We want to thank all of our Parent Ambassadors that came out to the event to help make it as successful as it was: Melinda Atnip, Dave and Vanessa Chavez, Alexia Lucero, Diana Miller, Robin Smith, Bobby Tomlin (with Elaine Lugo), Steve Ward and Theresa Rote.

Parent Ambassadors are such an important part of Parent Relations and the resources we provide current USD parents and families. If you would like to become a Parent Ambassador and volunteer for upcoming events, please email us at parents@sandiego.edu. You can see all the upcoming events in the new sections of our newsletter: "Parents Save The Date" and "Parent Volunteer Opportunities".

 Kindly,

The Office of Parent Relations
