Merry Christmas, USD Families!

Warm holiday greetings from the Office of Parent Relations!  We hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and imagine you are eagerly awaiting your student’s return home at the end of the semester.  Until then, your student will be engaged in finals from December 16-20. Residential Life & Housing Announcement

Reapply for Financial Aid for 2014-2015

Preparing for Finals Week

Finals week is soon approaching. Here are a few simple tips for your student as s/he prepares for exams.

•    Get together with friends to study.
•    Find a place on campus conducive to your learning.
•    Eat, sleep and exercise to renew yourself.
•    Manage your time well.

Not sure what to ask for this Christmas?  Consider a gift that you can enjoy while helping a student in need, Sips for Scholarships in Sonoma, CA.  Join USD ladies and their friends at this annual fundraiser benefitting students who have fallen on unexpected hardship in their junior and senior year at USD and just need a little help to continue and get their degree.  Click here to read more about Sips for Scholarships.

Summer Business Bridge Program

Set yourself apart with core business skills and career knowledge for professional success. This three-week intensive program is designed for students seeking business, career planning and leadership skills needed to succeed in the competitive job market. USD Commencement Updates

If your student submitted their petition to graduate by November 1, they will receive an email notification of graduation status by mid-January. Any remaining graduation requirements should be met by having the student adjust his or her Spring class schedule or by enrolling in USD Summer Sessions, if necessary. If your student has not yet petitioned, encourage them to petition online through the Senior Tab of the MySanDiego portal.
