Dear USD Families,
Happy new year and welcome back to USD! It’s wonderful to have all the students back on campus and to see them all reconnect with friends and faculty. The Office of Parent Relations hosted the Parent/Family Spring Transfer Orientation and Reception for families of the newly enrolled transfer students many of which are also freshmen and international students. We sincerely welcome you to USD, and hope you enjoy the Parent Newsletter–a monthly issue geared to keep you informed of USD news and events.
Whether you are family of a first year student or a parent of a graduating Senior. Be sure to read through this newsletter to learn about resources, activities and important deadlines throughout the month of February that can contribute to your student’s Spring Semester experience.
Lastly, there are two great opportunities that family can attend with the community of USD. First, Grandparents’ Weekend scheduled for February 20-21 is fast approaching. There’s still time to register, however several sessions and tours have reached capacity. The last day to register is February 13. Second, be part of the inaugural Be True To Your School Party and Silent Auction. Join us on Saturday, February 21st for this ‘50s themed party!
