How it works!
A very active Employment Assistance Office functions as an intermediary between the graduates and the legal and business community at large. While the University of San Diego cannot and does not guarantee employment, every possible effort is made to assist graduates in securing positions as legal professionals.
A resume writing workshop provides a thorough indoctrination in the preparation of a resume. Individual appointments may be scheduled to ascertain the student’s specific job interests, pinpoint geographic preferences for employment and tailor the resume to the legal field.
Interviewing techniques and the job search are covered in another workshop to acquaint students with resources for a productive job search and necessary preparation for a successful interview.
At the conclusion of each Program, students desiring employment assistance are required to submit copies of their final resume. The Employment Assistance Office aids in generating interviews through special mailings and continuous contact with the legal and business community--all at no cost to either employers or graduates.
