Course Information:
Making smart choices during the jury selection process is one of the most important aspects of the jury trial. Asking the right questions and having real conversations with prospective jurors allows the trial lawyer to determine who is good for his/her case, and who might not be. The paralegal may play a crucial role in the process as well. As jury selection becomes more and more complicated, much like the people who make up the jury panels, the paralegal may become an important partner to the attorney in the process. This hour-long seminar explores how a trial attorney conducts Voir Dire, why it is done a certain way, and what the paralegal can do to
assist in the process.
