Course Information:
The course discusses three ways that firms are currently handling e-discovery from a cost benefit analysis standpoint and potential causes for sanctions. The analysis uses a sample data set that could be found in any litigation matter today; covering many of the terms and ideologies that are commonly seen in the ESI space. The information has been utilized by firms for: introduction to efficient e-discovery review and production; how to justify a Protective Order for production of electronic files due to burden of cost; and what red flags to look for when trying to get a Motion to Compel for production of electronic documents.
