Campus Campout: December 5-6
- Campus Campout is an educational and advocacy event that will explore the effects of climate change on our global community, especially those in developing nations.
- The event includes: an organic and fair trade dinner, two short films, a panel discussion, fun activities, desserts, overnight camping, breakfast & reflection.
- Free: Dinner, breakfast, & camping gear!
- This event is co-sponsored by CASA, Outdoor Programs and Associated Students.
- Hosted by Students for Fair Trade and Sustainability

Book Drive for Better Lives: December 7 -19
Help support world literacy through the first USD Better World Book Drive!
Each year, hundreds of thousands of books end up in landfills, yet millions of people are illiterate around the globe. Donate used textbooks to support literacy programs in Africa and promote sustainable use of our earth.
Collection bins will be located at the following locations:
- Bookstore
- Law library
- SLIC (Student Leadership and Involvement Center)
- Outdoor Programs
- University Center Deli and Information Desk
- CASA (Center for Awareness and Service Action)
- Math Department (Serra 133)
- Manchester Residential desk
- R.A. offices in Camino and Maher
- Vistas Palomar Lounge
- Missions Crossroads
- English Department (Founders 174)
- Before and after Founder's Chapel masses on December 14th.
