Spring Orientation is the University of San Diego’s orientation program for all new first-year students and transfer students staring in the Spring semester. This program serves as the official welcome to USD. This program is especially designed for you to get the essential information you need to make a smooth transition to USD. The Office of Parent Relations invites parents and families of incoming students to attend Parent & Family Spring Orientation Wednesday, January 25, 2017. This event is designed for you to get answers to questions you may have about your student’s transition to USD and learn more about the university community. We highly encourage you to participate.
Please note that Parent & Family Spring Orientation runs concurrently with Spring Orientation for your incoming student.
If you have an on-going psychological or health condition, need regular access to prescription medication, or have a documented disability requesting accommodation, please contact the appropriate Wellness unit prior to arriving on campus. Take time to visit the Student Wellness website to become familiar with the many services in place to help you stay healthy and address any health concerns.
First-Year Students: Please visit and review the information available on the First-Year Registration website. It is a wealth of information for placement exams, Preceptorial Program, transfer credit, getting courses, and more!
Transfer Students: Prior to registering for courses, you must first complete several required steps. Please refer to the Transfer Student Checklist for more information.
