Freshmen Checklist - A list of mailings you can expect to receive this summer, and a checklist of things to do before coming to campus in August.
Freshmen Letter - Letter from Vice President of Student Affairs Carmen Vazquez that welcomes students to the USD community and provides some key information about the campus.
Torero Chair Letter - Letter from our student Torero Days Chair informing you about Torero Days activities and what you should expect to bring.
Freshmen Schedule - This is a full schedule of Torero Days events that all Freshmen students can participate in. Please note the difference between Freshmen Resident and Freshmen Commuter schedules.
Move-In Schedule - If you are living on-campus in the fall as a resident, or if you are staying on-campus during the first few days of orientation as a commuter, you will need this schedule. Please note which housing area you will be staying in to make sure you arrive on time and in the correct place.
Transportation Form - If you are arriving to San Diego via plane or train on Saturday, August 28, 2010 (Move-In Day), we have a special team of students who can pick you up! Send this in ASAP - due date is August 6, 2010.
Commuter Housing Reservation Form - Are you commuting to USD this fall? During the first 3 days of orientation, you can stay on-campus to save yourself the hassle of driving back and forth each day. Turn in this form with your deposit so that you can reserve your space!
Parent Orientation Schedule: The Office of Parent Relations staff and Parents Association Board members welcome parents of new USD students and are available to answer your questions.
Summer Send-Offs -Attend a Summer Send-off near your hometown to get a jump start on meeting other new and continuing USD students!
Financial Aid -If you are being offered any type of financial aid (including grants and scholarships) make sure to attend these sessions to be informed about all your resources!
Commuter Lockers - Lockers are available in the University Center for commuter students. Why lug books and supplies around all days when you can drop them off in your locker when you don't need them? While supplies last.
