USD & Bartell Hotels

For family and guests attending OLÉ! Weekend, USD and Bartell Hotels offer a unique opportunity to receive discounted room rates at San Diego's premier hotels. By selecting a Bartell Hotel for your stay, Bartell will donate 10% back of the total room cost to support student scholarships and promote university events.

All seven Bartell Hotels are conveniently located close to the USD campus, all major attractions, and many are situated on the water's edge. Guests will also receive complimentary continental breakfast and welcome beverage. Most of the hotels provide courtesy airport transportation and free parking.

Student Wellness

New students can visit the Disability and Learning Difference Resource Center website for additional information on accommodations and services.

If you have an on-going psychological or health condition, need regular access to prescription medication, or have a documented disability requesting accommodation, please contact the appropriate Wellness unit prior to arriving on campus.  Take time to visit the Student Wellness website at www.sandiego.edu/wellness to become familiar with the many services in place to help you stay healthy and address any health concerns.

USD Mail Center

Sending a Package Before OLÉ! Weekend

  • New students can send packages to be held at the Mail Center (located in the Maher Annex) beginning Monday, August 17, 2015. 
  • Use the format below to send a package to campus prior to moving in:
                            <Your Name>
                            HOLD FOR NEW STUDENT
                            5998 Alcalá Park
                            San Diego, CA 92110
  • Packages can be picked up at the Mail Center, Maher Annex and are not delivered to housing areas.
  • If mailing items that you need for a Pre-Orientation Trip mark the items that you mail with "Pre-O" and the date of your tirp along with the above address. Contact mailcenter@sandiego.edu with your name, the tracking number(s) of the package(s) needed for Pre-O, and the date of your Pre-O trip.

Sending Mail After OLÉ! Weekend

Students living on campus are assigned a mail box they may keep for as long as they reside in on-campus housing. On-campus housing any residence hall excluding the University & Presidio Terrace Apartments. Click here for information about mailing packages to USD
