What is Olé?
At USD, we believe that life and learning happen everywhere, both within and beyond the classroom. Olé (Our Lived Experience) highlights the most important things we hope you will learn outside the classroom during your time here and beyond. When you engage in activities and opportunities that are linked to these areas, you can make connections between what you're learning as a whole person.
- How do I earn points?
You can search for Olé events using the MySanDiego portal (Torero Life/Events (Olé)) or the MySDMobile app (Events).
When you attend these events, swipe in to earn points.
To find events that earn points, please look for the Olé logo under the "Register" button in the portal.
When you hover over the icon in the portal, it tells you how many points you will earn for attending that event.
In the MySDMobile app, you can filter by Olé events.

You can make your organization’s events Olé events by selecting yes from this dropdown menu on the Event Registration and Approval (EvR) form and meeting with an involvement consultant in SLP 316. They’ll set up the event in Salesforce and help you be ready to swipe people in!
