Snowboarding

Ski & Ride Bear Mountain

Join us for some fresh powder as we hit the slopes of Big Bear Mountain on February 26, 2012.  This trip is an opportunity you will not want to pass up whether you have been raised on the slopes or this is one of your first times strapping on skis.

Bear Mountain is home to 12 lifts and is the birthplace of the modern terrain park movement. There is freestyle terrain with jumps, rails, half pipes, and more.  The most impressive snow park feature is the new Red Bull Plaza, which resembles an urban terrain setting. If you need a break from the daily grind of classes and homework, grab your board and get ready for a thrilling day of speed and snow.

Bear Mountain:

  • Bear Peak: 8,805 ft
  • 17 miles of terrain
  • 18-foot high Superpipe wall that's more than 600 feet long

Trip Date: February 26, 2012

"We had over a foot of fresh powder coat the mountain for our arrival. I couldn't believe snowboarding in southern California could be this good! And not having to drive there was the best!." - participant
