Registration opens in June.
Begin your life at USD with an adventure you will never forget! This outdoor camping trip to the Laguna Mountains (45 minutes east of campus) is not only a lot of fun, but it's a great way to make new friends, start building a community at USD and experience the great outdoors of San Diego County. Pre-O Adventure is specifically designed to bring new students together before Torero Days begins to build friendships, ease the transition to campus and give participants a taste of the amazing opportunities that San Diego County has to offer.
Pre-O Adventure is one large camping trip with a variety of activities. All participants will have the opportunity to camp together, hike, get to know one another, and participate in a high ropes course. In small groups, participants will choose from one of the following activities: Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Mud Caving, Horseback Riding or Hiking.
Most importantly, Pre-O Adventure helps freshman start school more confidently and prepared. There will be opportunities to ask upper class student leaders numerous questions about college life and find out great things to do in SD: the best beaches, what different classes and professors are like, what student clubs are on campus, and many other helpful, informative insights. Many students claim that their Pre-O Adventure was one of the hightlights of their first year at USD!
