Cycle the Coast with Outdoor Adventures!
Join Outdoor Adventures as we explore the beautiful Southern California Coast by Bicycle!
You and your bike will be transported to the downtown San Diego Amtrak Station where we will take the train 35 miles North to the town of Oceanside. We will then pedal forty miles on our way back down the historic Highway 101 to campus!
You will need a road or hybrid bike in good working order, your helmet, comfortable clothes and some money for lunch along the way. Participants must be reasonably fit and have cycled 20 miles or more within the past two years...
Amtrak departs 9:30, arriving in Oceanside 10:15am...
The ride is about 4 hours.
Return to campus by 5pm.
