The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) zigzaggs its way from Mexico, through California, Oregon and Wachington all the way to Canada. Starting near Campo, the trail climbs Mount Laguna and follows a ridge overlooking the Anza Borrego Desert past Julian. This section of trail is only an hour from campus.
