Will be offered again Fall 2014.
Explore Utah's First National Park through a collection of challenging day hikes while camping in a local campground. Walk among the towering cliffs and view the massive canyon walls ascending toward a brilliant blue sky. This class will travel to Zion National Park during Fall Holiday (10/13-10/16). Hiking will be challenging, traveling 5 to 9 miles over rough terrain. Some sections of trail will have long drop offs (not appropriate for anyone fearful of heights) and others will require hiking over slippery rocks and wading through water and even swimming. Two class outings will involve hiking around San Diego prior to the overnight trip to Utah.
You must have an active health insurance policy and you will be required to complete a health statement/liability waiver. If you are under 18, please notify a staff member before you sign up.
