Worst injury from an outdoor trip: Got a concussion and broke my wrist from extreme tubing behind a boat one time

One place in the world: I would go to the south of france, right along the Mediterranean and climb, surf, snowboard and ski for the rest of my life.

Something that no one knows: I think tide laundry detergent is probably the best smell to ever grace my nasal cavity. If it was a cologne I would buy it just so I could smell like freshly done laundry.

Favorite piece of outdoor gear: homemade 30 inch fishtail longboard and my go lite puffy jacket.

Five things you wish you knew before freshman year:

• it’s ok to drop a class
  
• always try and make more friends
  
• it will take more than 4 years to completely explore san diego (sadly)
• move down to the beach, it’s probably the only time your life where you actually will be able to afford to live there (plus it’s pretty awesome)
• learn to cook, it’s so much cheaper and tastier
