Dr. Dale Glaser, principal of Glaser Consulting and adjunct assistant professor of statistics for the School of Nursing, has accrued extensive experience in statistical analyses, psychometric testing, program evaluation, and organizational assessment and development within the health care, nursing, organizational, educational, and marketing research domains. Dr. Glaser obtained his PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, and his M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. He has published extensively and has furnished statistical and methodological consultation in the area of nursing research. As a statistical consultant, he has been responsible for engaging in comprehensive assessment efforts from the formative stages of survey construction and experimental design, power analyses, psychometric assessment, and statistical analysis to presentation/implementation and publishing of results. He also has gained extensive experience with advanced quantitative methods, including Structural Equation Modeling, multilevel modeling, and other multivariate/biostatistical techniques.
Besides his publications in the statistical, evaluation, and health care domain, he also is a member of various editorial boards, including Structural Equation Modeling: A Multidisciplinary Journal. He has served as an ad hoc reviewer for methodologically oriented journals such as Psychological Methods and Educational and Psychological Measurement and health care journals such asAmerican Journal of Critical Care.
In addition to teaching statistical courses, Dr. Glaser provides statistical consultation in the School of Nursing’s Office of Nursing Research.
