Paula Leibham is a clinical assistant professor for the USD Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from University of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, and her Master’s Degree from University of San Diego in 1998.  She has maintained certification with ANCC since 1998.

Ms. Leibham’s nursing background includes telemetry, intensive care.  Most recently her focus is primary care, providing health care to a population spanning all age groups.  She also serves as preceptor to Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, and Medical students.

Ms. Leibham’s current teaching responsibilities include serving as a clinical liaison with a group of students each semester.  Such tasks include reviewing assigned clinical logs, reflections, written soaps notes, and making scheduled site visits.
