Halloween Field Meet

OCTOBER 30, 2008

On October 30, 2008, San Diego NROTC midshipmen and active duty OCs/MECEPs kept left their uniforms hanging in the closet and dressed up in costumes for the 3rd annual Halloween Field Meet held at USD.  This event gave battalion members a break from their crisp, starched khakis while still maintaining decorum dressed up as a Tigger, Sumo-wrestler, Indiana Jones, Wendy’s logo girl, and other wacky and fun outfits.  Members competed in fun games, including tug-of-war and izzy dizzy, and the best-performing platoon was named the winner.  Winners were also announced in different costume categories such as best dressed and most unique.  Pictures from last years event can be seen below.
