SOLES Students at Feed San Diego

Undergraduate Nonprofit Class Visits Feeding San Diego, Fighting Food Insecurity and Preventing Waste

Students from the Undergraduate Nonprofit Program met at Feeding San Diego.  They met with CEO, Vince Hall to discuss current initiatives and programs aimed at fighting food insecurity in San Diego and the prevention of keeping wasted food out of the county's landfills. Feeding San Diego advocates for the rights of the food insecure on a federal, state and local level. Through a variety of partnerships, FSD educates the community and elected officials on the issues impacting our clients and distribution partners. The students are in Teresa VanHorn's Nonprofit Leadership course.  For more information on the Undergraduate Nonprofit programs email
