USD Counseling Students Featured for Practicum in the Bahamas

Recently a group of ten USD SOLES clinical mental health counseling and school counseling students traveled to the Bahamas for the global studies course, COUN 562 Group Counseling. The course provides an introduction to group dynamics, group theories, and group work. Three of the students worked in the Social Department of Domestic Violence and the other seven students worked under the Counseling Unit and the Department of Rehabilitative and Welfare Services. During their time in the Bahamas the students and Professor Kristopher Hall, PhD were featured on several local news stations, click the links below to find out more.
