The University of San Diego's School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES) is hosting a screening of the film "Project Happiness." The film was produced by the Project Happiness foundation and is one of the many events inspired by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama's "Compassion Without Borders" symposium in San Diego. An open discussion lead by "Project Happiness" Communications Director Brian Rusch will follow the screening.

The film features three groups of high school students from three different continents that set out to explore the nature of true, long-lasting happiness. The students interviewed influential figures such as George Lucas, Richard Gere, and neuroscientist Richard Davidson and spoke with them about their perception of lasting happiness. The students also traveled to India where they met His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The film encourages viewers to gain a new perspective on life and happiness through the eyes of the students.
