Associate Professor Presents Paper at International Peace Research Association
Ami Carpenter, PhD, associate professor at the Kroc School, will be in Istanbul, Turkey from Aug. 10 to 15 for the biennial conference of the International Peace Research Association (IPRA). Carpenter is co-presenting a paper with Karen Bhangoo, PhD, of the University of California, Berkeley, entitled “An Emerging Paradigm: Resilience, Human Rights, and Violence Prevention in India and Iraq.”
In October, Carpenter and other faculty and staff members of the Kroc School will present at the conference of the Peace and Justice Studies Association — the North American affiliate of IPRA. The Kroc School is co-hosting the conference with USD’s School of Leadership and Education Sciences.
