MA in Peace and Justice alumna Cindi Cassidi is currently working as the Department Head of Clinical Psychology at the University of Kibungo (UNIK) in Ngoma, Rwanda. Cindi graduated from the Kroc School of Peace Studies in 2013, after having worked as a clinical psychologist in the Deaf community in San Diego. Her clinical experience drove her interest in working with underrepresented and disabled populations in Tanzania, and ultimately the Kroc School Master of Arts in Peace and Justice (MAPJ). After graduation, Cindi's passion led her back to Africa where she started working volunteering for PICO Rwanda, a grassroots non-governmental organization in Rwanda.
