Three USD School of Law Alumni Serve as Successive Presidents of the Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego

San Diego (January 26, 2018) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law alumnus Warren Den, ’02 (JD), was recently inaugurated as the 2018 president of the Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego (PALSD). He succeeds 2017 President Judy Bae, ’02 (JD) and 2016 President Linh Lam, ’05 (JD). PALSD celebrated its 40th anniversary at its annual gala dinner at the U.S. Grant Hotel on January 25. 

Den is a deputy public defender at San Diego’s Office of the Primary Public Defender, where he has worked as a trial attorney since 2005. Den is a longtime member of PALSD and volunteers as a law alumni advisor at USD School of Law.

Bae is an attorney at Miller, Monson, Peshel, Polacek & Hoshaw, where her practice focuses on trust and probate litigation matters including trust and will contests, a variety of trust petitions often filed by beneficiaries seeking accountings, instructions from the court, and/or contesting a trustee's bad acts.

Lam is a deputy district attorney at the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, where she has worked since 2006. Lam has been a long-time member of PALSD and, prior to serving as president, served on the organization’s board of directors for five years.

PALSD is dedicated to advancing Asian Americans in the legal profession, promoting and advocating the interests of the Asian Pacific American community, and preserving the culture, heritage, and diversity of the San Diego community. PALSD provides its members with numerous opportunities to network with judges and attorneys in various practices, attend continuing legal education courses, mentor young attorneys and law students, and volunteer for community service activities.
