Torero Athletics: Volleyball Seeks WCC Title Tonight; Basketball, Football Updates

Just how close are the University of San Diego women's volleyball team and co-West Coast Conference leader BYU in the WCC standings? Both take a 16-1 record heading into their respective 6 p.m. regular-season finale tonight — USD hosts Pepperdine in the Jenny Craig Pavilion and BYU hosts Loyola Marymount — and their lone WCC loss is a four-set home defeat to the other. If both teams win tonight, they'll share the championship — on paper.
