This is your USD News Minute.
In order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, USD requires everyone affiliated with the campus to complete a daily health screening survey and to stop by one of our temperature screening stations before entering any building. Remember we are all in this together.
From a pool of over 100 applicants, the Kroc IPJ’s Women PeaceMakers (WPM) program has selected four incredible women for a 12-month fellowship, which includes a two-week residency at the University of San Diego’s Kroc School. The focus this year is on improving partnerships and addressing security to end cycles of violence. Get to know each of the women and their work on their website.
Dean Jane Georges from the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Sciences, along with a distinguished panel of experts, will be hosting a frank discussion on racial inequality within the healthcare system. The discussion will take place online on Tuesday, September 15 at 5:30 p.m. Registration is required.
As always thank you for watching, see you next week!
