Meet Our Experts: Tara Salinas, Professor of Business Ethics

At the University of San Diego School of Business, every undergraduate and MBA student takes a business ethics class, likely taught by Professor of Business Ethics Tara Ceranic Salinas. After a visit to campus left her immediately impressed with this "academic Disneyland," she took on a teaching role as a professor of business ethics at USD. For the past 11 years, Salinas has been a driving force in incorporating ethics and empathy in our business programs and beyond -- even building an ethics case for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Lately, she has been focusing her energy on empowering women and combatting the implicit bias that affects women and other underrepresented groups, especially in the workplace.
