Green Move Out: Donate Items to Support Disabled American Veterans

Green Move OutUSD students can participate in the Green Move Out now through May 31. Donate all gently used items to support Disabled American Veterans.

As final exams come to a close for University of San Diego students living on — and off — campus, the Office of Sustainability encourages you that when the time comes to move out of the residence halls or even off-campus apartments, consider participating in the Green Move Out event happening now through May 31 on campus.

In partnership with the Disabled American Veterans organization, USD students can donate all gently used items such as bedding, towels, clothing, kitchen items, books, toiletries and electronics to help local veterans in need.

To donate, look for bins in all residential areas, in the Hahn University Center foyer and at the West Parking Structure tram stop.

Last May, USD students donated more than 44,000 pounds of items.

Thank you!
