Football Set for Homecoming Game vs. Dayton; Other USD Homecoming Events

The University of San Diego football team will celebrate Homecoming and Family Weekend and look to remain unbeaten in league play when it takes on Dayton today at 2 p.m. in Torero Stadium.

The Toreros (3-2, 1-0 PFL) and Flyers (3-3, 2-1 PFL) have combined to win at least a share of the Pioneer Football League championship in 11 of the past 13 seasons.

USD has won 31 straight home PFL games, dating back to Oct. 9, 2010, in a 21-20 loss against Dayton. USD has won 23 straight PFL games dating back to Oct. 10, 2015, in a 13-12 loss at Dayton.

The game will be available to watch on theW.tv and via radio on Mighty 1090AM with Jack Cronin on the call. Live statistics will be available via USDToreros.com.

Torero Athletics/Club Sports Homecoming Gatherings 

On Saturday, the Dave Wodynski USD Men's Lacrosse Homecoming Game, Old Navy vs. New Blue, will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday at Manchester Field. There is a donation cost to play in the alumni game and a fee for spectators. All proceeds support the USD men's lacrosse program ... Saturday, 2 p.m., Manchester Field, there will be a USD vs. USD alumni rugby match. There will be a post-match party at Tio Leo's restaurant down the hill from campus. Free to attend ($25 donation to the program is suggested) and meet the 2018-19 team, reconnect with former teammates and hear from veteran coach Cindy Fisher.
