The University of San Diego’s annual Alcalá 100 reception for outstanding senior student leaders took place on April 16 in the Degheri Alumni Courtyard.

Alcala 100 - 2018

The Alcalá 100 is a prestigious alumni group consisting of outstanding leaders from each graduating class. Each spring, administrators and faculty members from across campus nominate key senior leaders to be inducted into the Alcalá 100. As students, these individuals demonstrated a passion for USD and through their contributions to student life they made a big impact on campus.

As alumni, members of Alcalá 100 remain strong advocates and ambassadors for the University of San Diego and continue to develop leadership skills that will benefit their personal and professional development as well as their alma mater. Alcalá 100 alumni are a vital link between their classmates and their alma mater. The university relies on their support to help develop a successful Alumni Association and stronger connections with alumni so USD can continue to grow and thrive.

The event on Monday afforded current seniors the chance to meet and network with USD Alumni Association Board members. Students were congratulated on their impending graduation and complimented on their Torero pride by Senior Director of Alumni Relations Charles Bass and Alumni Association Board President Gerry Rodrigues ’97.
