Senior Salute Kicks off the Year for USD's Class of 2018

The countdown toward graduation for the University of San Diego’s Class of 2018 began on Sept. 5, the eve of the first day of the fall semester, in the Degheri Alumni Center.

The annual Senior Salute event, co-hosted by Alumni Relations, the Torero Program Board, USD Alumni Association and University Ministry, brought a large group of senior students together for some fun — a photo booth, food and drink — and a chance to catch up on what each other did over the summer.

Welcomed by Associated Students President Will Tate, USD President James T. Harris, USD Senior Director Charles Bass, Assistant Vice President for University Ministry Michael Lovette-Colyer and USD alumnus and former Torero football player Eric Gregg, the Class of 2018 reveled in this traditional opportunity to kick off their final year as a USD undergraduate in style.
