Professor Maimon Schwarzschild will be presenting his paper "Political Questions, the United States Constitution, and the Courts" at a conference titled "The Return of Politics to Constitutional Law" in May 2018 at the University of Lisbon in Portugal.  He will also be presenting "Political Questions and the Role of the Courts in the United States" at a conference on "Judicial Independence: Global Challenges and the Rule of Law" in June 2018 at Queen Mary University in London.

About Professor Schwarzschild

Professor Schwarzschild teaches and writes in the areas of comparative law, constitutional law, public international law, civil procedure, criminal procedure, and evidence. He is the authro most recently of "Complicated - But Not Too Complicated: The Sunset of EU Law in the UK After Brexit," 39 Cardozo L. Rev. 905 (2018).
