Professor Mila Sohoni Presents Paper at Duke Law School and UCLA Law School

San Diego (February 14, 2017) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law Professor Mila Sohoni presented a paper titled "On Dollars and Deference: Agencies, Spending, and Economic Rights” at Duke Law School in North Carolina.

Sohoni’s presentation formed part of the 47th Annual Administrative Law Symposium hosted by the Duke Law Journal. The symposium is intended to engage in yearly commentary on the developments in the field of federal administrative law. Sohoni was not only a presenter but also a co-organizer of the symposium, which drew luminaries in the field including Kerry Abrams, Sam Bagenstos, Kris Collins, Olati Johnson, Nina Mendelson, Gillian Metzger, Eloise Pasachoff, Bertrall Ross, and Karen Tani. The keynote was given by Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Commissioner Chai Feldblum. Professor Sohoni’s paper will be published in May 2017 in the Duke Law Journal.

Sohoni subsequently presented the paper at the UCLA Law School's faculty colloquium in March 2017.
