USD Sustainability: April is Earth Month

USD Sustainability: April is Earth Month

The nationally recognized celebration for Earth Day is, one day, April 22. It’s often treated as a chance to temporarily pause, reflect and serve as a poignant reminder for us all to take greater care of the environment, planet and each other.

At the University of San Diego, however, one day for this mindset, especially in recent years, has not been nearly enough. Through the work of USD’s Office of Sustainability and several campus partners, when the calendar turns to April, it’s actually Earth Month.

In 2016, USD organizers have a theme of “Be a Super Hero, protect the Earth.” Check out these remaining April Earth Month events and get involved!
