Sarah Gray Awarded Funding From the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

Sarah Gray, PhD, Environmental and Ocean Sciences, has once again been awarded continuation funding for FY 2014-15 from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Coral Reef Conservation Program. The long-term conservation outcome of these awards addresses the reduction of land-based sources of sediment and water pollution associated with watershed development in Coral Bay (CB), St. John, US Virgin Islands, a USVI Coral Reef Management Priority Site. This current installment of $56,936 and the previous payment of $91,102, when added to NOAA’s ongoing funding for this project which began in 2008, to date totals $681,480.
