EPIC Posts Energy and Climate Legislation

The Energy Policy Initiatives Center (EPIC) monitors California legislation related to energy and climate change. We have recently updated our online Legislative Center with a list of bills that have been introduced in the 2015-16 Legislative Session.

Notable Bills:

• AB 1023 amends the California Public Utilities Commission Ex Parte Communication rules.
• AB 675 and SB 350 expand renewable electricity requirements to 50%, among other things.
• SB 765 addresses reforms to net energy metering.
• SB 575, AB 1005, and AB 1236 address electric vehicles and charging station implementation, including streamlined permitting for stations.
• AB 1068 and AB 1398 reform the California Environmental Quality Act.
