Cartwright Building a Legacy at USD

U-T San Diego -- During his first year back in San Diego, Derrick Cartwright was intent on saying yes.

The director of university galleries at the University of San Diego and the former director of the San Diego Museum of Art, Cartwright said yes to the Oceanside Museum of Art and the San Diego History Center when they asked him to help curate the institutions’ first joint project.

He said yes to the San Diego Museum of Art Artists Guild when it asked him to jury an exhibition at the Lyceum Gallery.

He said yes to the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library when it asked him to present an art lecture series. (Full Story)
