Summer Undergraduate Research Awards

Marissa Ringgold and Alexi Duenas were awarded Summer Undergraduate Research Awards ($8,953 each) as supplements to a National Science Foundation grant. Marissa and Alexi will continue their work in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry with Assistant Professor Timothy Clark in metal-catalyzed C-H borylation reactions. Each project focuses on the selective conversion of C-H bonds into C-B bonds, which are versatile building blocks in organic chemistry.
