Dr. Juliana Maxim Recipient of American Council of Learned Societies Fellowships

USD History of Art and Architecture Associate Professor Juliana Maxim, PhD, was the recipient of an American Council of Learned Societies Fellowships for her forthcoming book The Socialist Life of Modern Architecture. The book examines the architecture produced in postwar Romania, and the central role it played in transforming the city into a new, collectivist environment, and housing into a revolutionary act.
